Prairie Light Review

In 2019-2020, I worked as a writer and editor for the Prairie Light Review, a semi-annual art and literature publication at the College of DuPage. In addition to proofreading, copyediting, and formatting work, I submitted two pieces of short fiction which were published.

Flower Boy is a short story detailing a fantastical struggle with body dysphoria.

It was featured in Volume 42 Issue 1 of the Prairie Light Review.

Squatter’s Guide To Empire is a dystopian science fiction short story about a homeless squatter struggling to eke out an existence in the outskirts of a brutal police state. It is at once larger-than-life and shockingly grounded in the modern day.

It was featured in Volume 42 Issue 2 of the Prairie Light Review.
